How the effects work.
Every effect follows the same pattern. Claude Code runs on your computer, inside the folder that holds your video. The setup prompt prepares three things once: a transcript with a timestamp for every word, a mask that separates you from the background on every frame, and a small library of helpers for easing, motion blur and layering.
An effect prompt then describes one look in precise terms: where it starts and ends, what is drawn, what goes behind you and what goes in front, how things move and on which word they react. Claude turns that description into a Python script, renders the frames, and writes them back into an MP4 with your original audio.
You stay the director. Each prompt asks for a short preview first, so you can give notes in plain English before the full render.

What are these video effects?
They are copy-paste prompts that make Claude Code add an effect to your own talking-head video: cards orbiting around you, a magazine cover behind your head, a dolly zoom, a hand-drawn outline and more. Claude writes and runs the code on your computer and renders a new MP4.
Are the effect prompts really free?
Yes. Every effect prompt on this page is published in full, with no sign-up and no email. You can copy it and change it however you like; the .md download asks for your email once.
What do I need to use them?
Claude Code with Claude Opus 5.5 selected, which needs a paid Claude plan or API access, and a vertical video named input.mp4 in a folder. The one-time setup prompt installs the rest: ffmpeg, word-level transcription and a person mask.
Can I use more than one effect in a video?
